Saf Homin is a multidisciplinary creator whose practice centers storytelling as a vehicle for constructing cultural memory, political imagination, and queer experience.
With an academic foundation in Ukraine and Fulbright research in the United States, Homin traverses visual and narrative forms—from documentary photography to writing and multimedia exhibitions—to study how media reveal and challenge power in society and personal experience.
Their projects span international contexts, with work published in The Financial Times, featured in books, and exhibited in Finland, the United States, Sweden, and additional countries.
Now pursuing graduate studies in photojournalism, Homin’s research investigates the ideological function of visual culture. Independently, they have collaborated on a photobook featuring young Ukrainian photographers and exhibitions reflecting on war and resilience.
Their work merges journalistic rigor, artistic exploration, and a focus on ethical representation.
